What payment URI schemes are supported?

Bitcoin (BIP-21: bitcoin:addr?amount=...), Ethereum (EIP-681: ethereum:0x...@1?value=...), Solana (solana:addr?amount=...), Litecoin (litecoin:...), and several others. Each chain has its own standard.

Will the QR work with every wallet?

Most major wallets (Phantom, MetaMask, Trust Wallet, Electrum, BlueWallet) support the standard URI scheme for their chain. Some older or non-custodial wallets may only recognize bare addresses — when in doubt, test with a small amount first.

Can I include a fiat amount?

No — the URI encodes a crypto amount. To request a fiat-equivalent, compute the crypto amount at the current rate before generating the QR. Or omit the amount and let the sender type it.

Why does my QR look denser than a URL QR?

Crypto URIs are longer (address + amount + label). Pick error-correction level M for a balance of density and scannability. If your wallet still struggles, drop the label or shorten the address.

Is my address sent to a server?

No. The QR is rendered locally with the qrcode library — verify with DevTools → Network. The address and amount never leave your browser.

Can I add a logo to the QR?

Not in this tool — logos reduce scannability and require careful error-correction planning. Use the dedicated QR-with-Logo tool in the QR & Barcode suite if you need branding.
