How are mean and median computed?

Mean is sum ÷ count. Median is the middle value (or average of the two middle values) after sorting.

What if multiple values tie for the most frequent?

All tied values are listed as modes, separated by commas. If every value appears only once, the tool reports “No mode”.

Population (divides by N). For sample variance, multiply by N/(N−1) — or just use the population std deviation and adjust.
