Are the PINs truly random?

Yes. Each digit is chosen with crypto.getRandomValues using rejection sampling to avoid modulo bias. The same CSPRNG that powers TLS in your browser.

What does “No repeating digits” do?

Each digit appears at most once in the PIN (e.g. 4815 instead of 4411). This is only possible up to length 10 — there are only 10 unique digits (0–9).

How many PINs can I generate at once?

Up to 20 in a single click. The list deduplicates so you never get the same PIN twice in one batch.

Why are 4-digit PINs weak?

There are only 10,000 possible 4-digit PINs — an attacker can try them all in seconds. Use longer PINs (6+) for anything valuable, and never reuse PINs across services.

Are PINs uploaded anywhere?

No. Generation and display are 100% local. Nothing is sent over the network.
