Which JSONPath features are supported?

$ (root), .key (child), ["key"] (bracket child), [n] (index), [*] (wildcard), ..key (recursive descent) and [?(@.field op value)] (simple filter with ==, !=, >, =, <=).

Are script expressions (@.length, etc.) supported?

Not yet — only simple field comparisons in filters. For full JSONPath, use a library like jsonpath-plus.
