Is the comparison visual or text-based?

Text-based. We extract text from each page of both PDFs and compare aligned pairs. Visual differences (images, layout) are not detected.

What happens if pages are inserted or removed?

Those appear as added (green) or removed (red) pages. The diff is page-aligned, not character-aligned, so shifts in pagination show as a wave of changes.

Are my PDFs uploaded?

No. Extraction and diffing happen entirely in your browser.

Can I compare more than two PDFs?

Not in this version. Run it pairwise for multiple comparisons.
