Will the corners be transparent?

By default yes — the output is a PNG with alpha. Choose “White” if you need a solid background (for example for JPEG-friendly results).

What resolution is the output?

The output is sized to the shorter side of your source image (e.g. a 3000×2000 photo gives a 2000×2000 circle). You can shrink the circle with the size slider.

Why is my image stretched?

The circle always fits the full canvas, and the image is scaled to cover that area. Use the zoom slider to zoom in if your subject is off-center.

Can I get a JPEG with a circle?

JPEG doesn't support transparency. Choose the white background option and the result will still be a PNG so the corners stay clean — convert to JPEG afterwards if you really need to.

Are my images uploaded?

No. Circle cropping happens entirely in your browser using the Canvas API.
